Funding

The Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter does not receive direct government funding and relies upon the support of the community to survive.

In real terms, your support does make a difference and will help the Helicopter continue its ongoing mission - saving lives.

To make an investment in the health and wellbeing of your family, friends and loved ones, please make a donation or buy our merchandise. The Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust is a registered charity - our Registered Charity Number is CC21935.

Thank you. We never forget that it is only thanks to the support of people like you, that enable your rescue helicopter to be there, free of charge and available to all - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Events

In addition to operational costs, funding is also needed each year for portable rescue, operational and medical equipment.  In order to raise the funds necessary to purchase and upgrade our equipment we often seek the support of community groups and organisations to hold fundraising events for us. If you are able to assist in this regard please email marketing@arht.org.nz.
